Unfortunately, I made this video a bit too early, and 2 precious little ones that I photographed in December did not make it on the video, I still wanted to share a wonderful year in review. I was honored to have photographed 62 newborns in 2010. I have also included a year in review collage selecting one image from almost every session in 2010. I posted this on facebook and had a lot of fun in the hunting game to find your session image and tag yourself. My new year resolution is to get back into blogging regularly again… It became so difficult to keep up with over the holiday season with juggling sessions and Christmas orders. I apologize to all those families that didn’t make it to the blog but if you follow me on facebook, you can see what I’ve been up to lately as well as find all the missed sneak peeks!
Happy New year to all!
Hi loyal blog readers! I am so sorry that I haven’t been posting here. I hope to catch up on the blog after the Holidays and also do a year in review slideshow. If you would like to stay up to date with what we’ve been up to then visit us on facebook and catch all the sneak peeks there!

Last weekend we packed our bags and flew out to my home state of North Dakota for my cousin’s wedding. We had a great time with family. and of course had to visit my Aunt and Uncle’s 100 year old farm. I wanted to take my daughter out into the golden wheat fields for a few pictures. Here are a few from our trip and my cousin’s wedding.
Words can not even express the true honor it was to work with Mary Spio. I have never met a woman more accomplished and inspirational. If you do not know her story, I suggest you google it. She inspires me to strive to be great! The opportunity to work with her was beyond humbling. Thank you Mary… for everything! It was a complete pleasure!
For those of you that may not know her, Mary has worn several hats…. a rocket scientist, an entrepreneur, patent holder, and digital media expert. She truly is an amazing and inspiring woman!
Almost two weeks post surgery and feeling great! I drove today for the first time and am so glad to be feeling a little bit ‘back to normal’. I can’t wait to get back into photographing sessions! My next newborn baby girl session was welcomed into the world yesterday and I am soo excited for her family! I can’t wait to meet them and capture these precious memories! So what would a post be without some pictures… some past favorites of a baby girl that I have not shared with you yet. This is the little princess from all those awesome pull back shots I posted previously. Now you can see how they turned out!
Her precious big brothers!
I have been so anxious to share the news and have been waiting for everything to become official. I have teamed up with the company Dish and Spoon Productions and my images will be featured in their new portrait decor line that will be launching next month. Stay tuned for their website to be revamped with this new product line. Dish and Spoon Productions offer an extensive collection of sophisticated and whimsical wall art designed to bring magic and style to a child’s nursery, bedroom, or play area! Each piece is custom-made and hand-crafted in the USA and include canvas wall hangings, name plaques, stretched art, portrait décor, word banners, growth charts, and children’s clocks. Their award-winning products are sold through infant and juvenile specialty stores, fine furniture retailers, gift shops, catalogs, select online stores, and interior design sources throughout the USA and abroad. I am very excited for the opportunity to work with them! Here is just a sample of newborn Harper and Dish and Spoon Productions princess line.
It’s not often that I step on the other side of the lens but I had fun tonight shooting my kiddies and thought I would join in the fun. I picked up another prop… the brick ‘flooring/wall’ and wanted to test it out before my upcoming newborn sessions for this weekend and next week. When you get to know me, I’m very laid back, very patient, happy, friendly… I’m a “people-person”. I have met so many wonderful people amongst this journey and it has been an incredible experience. Thank you so much for inviting me into your lives and letting me capture your precious memories! It’s an honor!
OK, so this is me trying to be serious (hard for me to do as I always have a smile on my face)
This is me doing the classic wind blowing through my hair shot while trying to be serious (lol)
