Meet Natalee. She is 3.5 years old and a total sweetheart. Natalee is a bit shy, but once she gets to know you, she really opens up. She is the daughter of a dear friend of mine. Here is a sneak peek from her ‘mini’ session.

Hats, Hats, and more Hats! I have been working with two etsy sellers that are simply amazing! They have sent me hats in exchange for photos for their etsy site. The two photographed below came from Olga. Check out her products, she does amazing work and I am thrilled with her products! Once they arrive, I will also be taking some pictures for KnittyBittyApparel I am working up a pea pod theme for my next newborn and will be using one of her pea pod hats.
Meet Ava Grace. She is 8 weeks old and such a sweet little girl! She was so thrilled to model these hats off. She loves hats and was so comfortable wearing them. Isn’t she as cute as a button?! Thank you to the mom for letting us capture these moments! I worked with my dear friend, Sarah Phipps, on this session. I will link her as soon as we/she get going on a website. Sarah and I have been working together lately with our newborns and we really enjoy helping eachother out.

Mandy: Amy...these are SO amazing. You have so much detail...even in those beautiful lashes.

Shawna: Hey Amy! These are awesome! Don't you just LOVE photographing newborns? You are SO good at it!

Loving all the blue! I just LOVE the thunder gray seamless paper, you can turn gray any color you’d like in photoshop with such ease. I really love how all the blues contrast here! You gotta love that precious baby bump! Logan, hurry up and get here, I know your mom and dad are anxiously awaiting your arrival!

heather Bauers: Hey Amy--we're blog twinkies:) LOVE that shot BTW, it's so cool with the parasol. HOW did you get your colors to change...where do I find that piece of info on the template? How did you get your logo up top and rid of the "tofu?"

Jennifer G: Hello Amy, I love this photo! You mentioned that you can change the color of the Thunder Gray into any color that you want--how??? I have been thinking about getting the Thunder Gray myself, and this tip just might help me get out the Credit Card!

amyrob: Hi Jennifer. In this particular shot, I made the adjustments in RAW using the temperature sliders and then the saturation sliders. You can very easily do this in photoshop with either a color balance adjustment layer, or a selective coloring adjustment layer, and then use the layer masks as needed. Let me know if you need a more in depth reply, I will try to help!

Jennifer G: Thanks for answering!! now I need to do some playing. I still have a lot to learn about photoshop (I have CS3), so I will try to see what I come up with! Thanks again!

I just finished editing Laila’s session and wanted to follow up with some favorites. She was such a sweet little girl and an excellent model!

I love the genuine expressions of mom and dad here looking at the baby and sweet Laila looking at the camera! Definitely a favorite of mine!

Laura Bailey: Hi Amy! I found you through etsy. I love your site. Great work!! In the 5th picture in this set what is the baby in and where might I find one? It looks similar to cheesecloth, could that be it? Thanks=)

amyrob: Yes Laura! It is cheesecloth. I bought it from Bed Bath and Beyond. The quality of it is just perfect. It is an off white creme color and I washed it several times to get it soft and stretchy. I then cut it into 6 inch strips and used it that way!! Hope that helps! :)

Sometimes, it just feels like forever until you get to meet and hold your baby for the first time! And then, once they’re here, it just seems to fly by so fast!

Nicole B.: I LOVE this!!!! It is so cute!

Shortly here, Logan will be coming up on his first birthday! Logan hasn’t been feeling too well today, but he seemed to really enjoy tearing into his cake! I never did this type of session with my oldest daughter, but I am not going to miss it for Haylee. My husband just really wanted their cake smashing experience to be on their birthday, but I really miss that I didn’t get to do this with Rylee. Logan is such a handsome little guy that has grown up soo fast just before my eyes. If you follow my blog, then you’ve seen his sweet face before!
Thank you Kristin for letting me shoot your adorable son!

My friend and I have been working very hard these last few days to make this SUPER cool fringe blanket. (With the help of my fabulous Mother-in-law I might add.) This gorgeous blanket is made from about 15-20 different skeins of yarn. I didn’t realize what a job it turned out to be until we got started with it. But we’re both super pleased with the results! I’m on a manhunt now for a tall, big, round basket. My intentions are to use this blanket with newborns and younger babies. I’m too excited!
Here is my beautiful daughter modeling it off for me! :)
