Having a sister is like having a best friend you can’t get rid of. You know whatever you do, they’ll still be there. ~Amy Li

These two girls were soo incredibly sweet! I had such a great time photographing them and their family. They are only 14 months apart and they have two completely different personalities. They remind me soo much of my two little girls, and seeing them together really makes me excited for my daughters to grow up and have eachother.

Here is a sneak peek of their session. You have to love this age, pre-teen. I was soo honored to be able to capture these last bits of their childhood years. Soon enough, they will become teenagers and before you know it, they will be driving cars, going to high school, dating, going to college, starting a family. (Sorry mom, I know you want them to stay little forever!) Ok, enough babbling, on with some pictures!

Jennifer G: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the texture on this one! mmmm...nice!--is the background on this photo your thunder gray?

Leslie: Gorgeous! I love the texture on this one too. Perfect!

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Ours was filled with a night at Monkey Joes with our closest friends, or should I say ‘family’, Birthday parties galore that we made our best efforts to attend each one, and a somewhat relaxing Sunday. Laundry, cleaning, and of course a photo session of my girls. We went out with my friend Jess and shot some at my favorite location in Clermont.
Can I just tell you how much fun it is to play at Monkey Joes. For once, I am finally not pregnant and can actually take my Rylee down the slides and watch her play amongst her friends. The people who came up with the concept of air-filled bouncy contraptions with super long slides is one intelligent person, and perhaps a kid at heart. I feel 5 all over again playing with my girls there. Sometimes I think more so than Rylee does.
OK, enough babbling and onwards with some photos from today!

Mandy: These are so gorgeous! The girls are looking more and more alike every day.

Laura: They are so precious! #1 and #4 are my favorites! I really like the colors in #1. Great job! It's hard sometimes to capture your own children.

Leslie: Oh they are so beautiful. I am a sucker for the red hair. So sweet.

I have just finished proofing Logan’s session and wanted to post a few more favs. TFL!

Lisa Lotter: More awesome baby images.... so envy the bowl.

Had some fun with my daughter today. She totally reminds me of a cabbage patch doll. I have been waiting for the right time to try this shot with her. Now that she is sitting up, it was the perfect time. Haylee seemed to really enjoy it. She is all about grabbing items and bringing them to her mouth. I think the cold cabbage felt really good on her gums. :) Anyhow, I hope you enjoy!

Ursula Page: I LOVE these! I am so sad I didn't try anything creative like this when my daughter was little. LOVE them! You are so talented :)

Lisa Lotter: These are so precious. She is too sweet... love the idea.

Leslie: No way - to stinking cute!!

Oh to be so young and so carefree again. Where your only worries are whether or not you can watch Barney on the TV, or go outside to swing on the swing. Where you find laughter in the smallest of things. Where a simple box can bring hours upon hours of pure entertainment. I have been so busy lately that it has been probably a good month since I’ve picked my camera up and shot a few of my girls. Meet Rylee, my oldest. She is the most sweet, fun loving, caring, and passionate little girl I know. My girls are my everything, my family is my everything!

Oh the joy in this one! I love it! Now that she is almost 2. I can play the “Don’t do ___” game, and she will go ahead and do it, all the while laughing her little heart out! I just love it!

Natacha: Your girls are absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!

Lisa Lotter: Sweet, Sweet images! I love the new background too.

Catching up on some of my editing. I took this shot of my BIL and SIL and nephew last month.

Happy Easter!

April 11, 2009

Just wanted to wish everyone, friends, family, and fellow blog readers, a happy Easter weekend! I hope you get to enjoy your time with the people you love!
And what would a post be without a picture! We dyed easter eggs today with my little girl, Rylee. She had a blast and we enjoyed watching her creativity! She wanted to make an egg to look like barney, so she dipped the egg in purple, and then in green. Oh how I wish you could freeze time and to never have them grow up as fast as they do!!!

jess: Aww, how precious! Time really does fly by, huh. Love the chubby little fingers in that last shot- and all those fun colorful eggs! We are getting ready to dye ours today too! Happy Easter! :)

Lisbeth: Aww...you dyed eggs too! Logan loved double and triple dipping the eggs and hated the way they tasted :) I hope Madelyn enjoys it next year. Love Rylee's fingers next to the colorful eggs.

Lisa Lotter: Happy Easter! I posted this a week ago and thought I'd try again.

I feel so fortunate to have captured this shot for this family. I was going through thier session’s images and happened upon this one and instantly said, “Oh my gosh, look at that smile!” Those dimples are too adorable!
And so, I leave you with this quote. “Before you were conceived, I wanted you; Before you were born, I loved you; Before you were here an hour, I would die for you; This is the miracle of love.” -Maureen Hawkins

Sarah: Precious. You already know how amazing I think you are!

Lisa Lotter: Awesome capture!
