My nephew and my daughter were born two weeks apart. It was such a joy to be pregnant along with my sister-in-law and compare notes. I am also thrilled that our kiddies will grow up together so close in age. I got together today with my SIL and Nephew to capture Mason’s 1 year shots. Also, here is a flashback of some favorite newborn shots of Mason!

Is it possible to be more precious than this? Oh how I love newborns! Need I say more?

13 and so captivating. I met up with Hannah and her mom and dad to capture headshots and to photograph Hannah for her comp card. I am soo excited for her and I can not wait to hear back on her efforts. A previous client of mine landed a national commercial with a headshot that I photographed and that was such a treat to hear the follow up on. I am so excited to see what is in store for Hannah and I know that she will have a bright future! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it!

Is your baby turning one? Smash the cake is always a fun tradition to do with your one year old. My Haylee is turning one in the next few weeks and I can not believe how much time has flown by. She LOVED her cake smash and made a fabulous lovely mess of it all. It was so exciting!

This is where we ended up

And because my baby is turning one, I want to flashback to my favorite newborn capture of her, oh how I wish they stayed little forever! I absolutely love watching her learn and grow!

I don’t think any words are needed for this post. I’ll let the picture speak for itself. :)

I am sooo excited that Fall is here, not that in Florida we actually have any seasons. But regardless, its a time of giving and thanks. I can’t believe the year is quickly ending around the corner. I only have a very few limited spaces left in November to capture the ever so popular family sessions this time of year for the Holidays, be sure to schedule early before its too late!

This is for all the golf lovers out there! Baby Jolie came back to visit me today to capture a few more special moments for her parents. She is all of 17 days old now and did such a good job posing on daddy’s golf bag. We headed out to the Legends Golf Course here in Clermont, Florida where we set up on the putting greens. Clermont is known for its rolling hills and lakes and it was absolutely beautiful out there (not to mention hot)! I knew that the golf course would be the perfect locale for this set up! To the Daddy (and mommy) of baby Jolie, I hope you will always treasure this shot!! You will always look back and say, I can’t believe you were so little that you fit in daddy’s golf bag. Jolie, like her sister, I’m sure will be star future golfers!

Sweet Jolie

September 16, 2009

Mommy and daddy had a special nickname for her, Jo-Jo, which I LOVE! That is the same name my girls call their auntie (Joanne) and with mine and my daughter’s middle name being Jo, how could I not just love that?!!! Jolie, you are a gorgeous, sweet little girl and I am so happy to have met you! I hope that you will enjoy these one day as you get older!

I get numerous emails asking me about my Pea Pod prop. I think an updated post on the topic is in order to help out my fellow photogs. I will tell you that there is a HUGE craze for this item and they are hard and few to come by. It was a metal boat from ROSS that I painted green. Not every ROSS store carries them and not every state has a ROSS. Also, this was purchased a few months back and so I’m sure they are not longer carrying this item. Its not the news you were hoping to hear, but I still hope this helps!!! I would keep an eye open for any type of metal boat or item that you could paint green and use it as a pea pod. ROSS, TJMAXX, are all great places to keep your eyes open for them! Best of luck to you!

Also, if you are curious what color I’ve painted my pea pod, It is valspar spray paint, purchased from Lowes. Satin interior/ext | premium enamel | ideal for wood, metal and more | fast drying |pistachio is the color, and the name of the color is found on the back of the can next to the upc scan label (it’s hard to find the color name)

And what’s a post without a picture? Check out this sweet pea, Baby Cade, at 14 days of age.
