Typically, it is best to photograph newborns within 5-10 days of age, however, Miss Anzleigh proved me wrong and was the most perfect little model for me. We did determine though that she is not a fan of the color white as she left her mark on every white blanket and even white (bone) seamless paper that I own (which is quite a lot) but that’s ok, the laundry is done and we captured some pretty amazing moments with her. A mom of two girls myself, I just LOVE baby girls. Here is a sneak peek of this little sweetheart! Thank you Tambra and Travis for letting me capture these memories, you have a precious baby girl!

My clients brought with them Jodie Otte’s Similac Ad image and requested this type of shot. It made me smile as I lurk her blog all the time. Thanks for the inspiration!

Scarlett is growing up so fast, do you remember her newborn session? She is now starting to sit up on her own and is the most smiley expressive baby I have ever met. But the most incredible thing about Scarlett is her amazing eyes. It never fails, whereever Scarlett goes, people flock to her and tell her what beautiful eyes she has. It was so much fun to capture this little one!

Aiden is turning one and he was such a ham for the camera. He had us all cracking up and had a few strangers flocking to him during their family session. He is the first boy and has two amazing big sisters that are really into cheerleading and competing. It brings back a lot of memories as I grew up cheering from the age of 5 until around 15 when I picked up the sport of basketball instead. Aiden is walking along furniture and loves Baby Einstein. His ‘Smash The Cake’ was my favorite part. His mom had the cake made professionally in a cake store in Ocoee and it looked amazing! Aiden did a great job smashing his cake, but I think he must of thought it looked so pretty that he didn’t want to ruin it too much, it took a little help to get him going with it, but it was so sweet!

Not to keep you waiting any longer, here is your sneak peek!!!

Do you remember Obie and Erica from their maternity session? Baby Zackary has made his arrival, and about a month early at that! Zack came to visit me at 14 days old. He was a smiley little man and so adorable. We had a great time during his session and even got a great laugh when Zackary peed on his daddy and it landed in his eyes. Too funny!
Erica and Obie, I can’t thank you enough for letting me be apart of capturing these memories. Baby Zack, you are loved so much! Welcome to the world!

Sneak peek, enjoy!

Remember my post on My Very Own Family’s photo session? Here is a sneak peek of the swap session I did for Kristi’s family. Their session took place in an overgrown field with beautiful trees off in the distance about an hour before sunset. The lighting was beautiful. I’ve only edited one shot for my portfolio thus far but its a favorite and I had to share. The SOOC (straight out of the camera) shot had about three poles sticking out of the ground in the backdrop which were quite ugly and one of which was growing out of William’s head. Kristi, the queen of cloning, took these out of the picture all ready saving me a lot of work before she sent me the RAW files I took from their session. Sometimes when a moment happens, you just have to capture it, regardless of the backdrop! Thank goodness for photoshop and the clone tool…. what a gem this picture has become!!!

I love this family so much as if they were my own. “S” used to provide childcare for my girls during the day while my hubby and I were at work. The foundation she layed for my girls in morals, values, and education I could never repay her for. She’s the most amazing person I know and has the strongest spirit and love for her family.

A picture can say a thousands words and I enjoy every moment of capturing your stories. What does your story tell?
