March 8, 2010This has been a busy weekend to say the least! I am so excited about this brand new location. I love anything rustic, run down, red, and textured. This place is my photog happy land. I love the run down red barn and the 2.5 acres of trees and nature. These two kiddies were simply cute as can be. They definitely got an A+ on their ‘What To Wear” to a session. I talked with mom a lot in detail before this shoot and she had a lot of fun shopping for clothes! Nearly two years ago, when I was portfolio building, I photographed Layni as a newborn. I can not believe how much she has grown! We also had some fun with Off Camera Flash (OCF) to throw a variety in the mix. I just LOVE OCF, I would love to do more shoots like this. Thank you Brandi for letting me capture your family memories! It was such a blast!

Just when I thought they weren’t smiling much (and they weren’t) it didn’t matter, these are beautiful! My family is going to be thrilled to see them. It brings a tear to my eye. I just love how you capture the tenderness and the craziness all at the same time. We had great fun! I too love the location! Thanks again sooo much! I love them!!!! How can I pick a favorite?!?! For this set up, I used my alien bee ab800 and giant foldable softbox 30×60
